This book embarks on a visual and narrative journey to Agbogbloshie in Ghana, exploring the aftermath of discarded electronics. Muddy and dirty green colors, along with stacked typography, symbolize the unhealthy and disorganized environment in Agbogbloshie. Through the emotionally compelling photos shot by Ton Toemen and Pieter Hugo, the book gives a voice to the people living in these conditions. Large image captions draw attention to the personal experiences of those affected by e-waste, reminding us that this is not just an environmental issue but a human one as well. More than just a book, it is a call to action.
